Reason 2

Fewer Rows Fewer Feet

Our efforts to get every foot to equal efficiency resulted in fewer feet on the front, as the front axle loading is always less.
Our efforts to reduce cleaner drag as much as possible resulted in fewer rows.
So we ended up with

• 4 rows on the rear drums and 3 rows on the front drums
• compared to the normal five rows on both front & rear, this is a clear 40% reduction in drag

 

Reason 3

Offset Drums

• look closely and you can see the offset, which places the rear feet into the uncompacted row gaps created by the front feet
• offset alignment of the rear drums compared to the front drums, allows every foot to give 100% efficiency. A perfect pattern in every pass.

Reason 4
Floating Pivoting Cleaner Arms
all other compactors with fixed cleaners suffer higher wear & drag on the trailing (non working) cleaner than the leading (working) cleaner.
our pivoted cleaners allow the trailing cleaner to move away when the machine is travelling.
this significantly reduces wear & drag, as material is no longer compressed between the tip and the drum.
We have simply taken away the HANDBRAKE.
